It's not confirmed yet, the MRI is set for tomorrow but more then likely yes he is out for the season. Second, he is a good guy, he was never a big ego maniac during that season so there is no reason to be excited he got hurt. Third and finally, even if the most hated player gets a season ending injury people should NEVER celebrate. It is never a happy thing when someone gets hurt.

Not only does that suck for the Patriots, Boston, the guy who injured him(if he should come back to Boston), but everybody's fantasy team...

I'm with you OP. I want to like him since he did a voice-over for Family Guy, but every time I look at him I just want to rip his endocrine system right out of his body. Makes me smile even more because the guy who injured him went to my college.
Just for the record I know I'm an asshole, but no point lying about how I feel.

QFT. I don't like the Patriots or Bill Beli-cheat but seeing someone get hurt is always bad. Only philly fans cheer when someone goes down, and those people are nuts.
It isn't on the ESPN site whether he's gone for the year or not, so I wouldn't rule him out yet, but I think he is going to miss a little time at least.
Anyways, I wouldn't call Brady a good guy, didn't he get his ex pregnant and then dump her? Also he was the QB for last year's heels (escessive bleep-you TD's anyone) so that's also got to knock some points off as well.
Brady's down, P.Man looked bad tonight, I think the AFC is going to be taken over by a bunch of mystery men this year.

So he rocked his knee. This isn't celebration, I'm pointing out the irony of him going to the Superbowl, having a near perfect season, then getting his leg jaked in the first game. It's ironic and interesting. If I seemed rude and offensive, I apologize. I just think the situation is ironic.
Also, I don't feel bad for sports players who makes more in 3 years than I will in the next 30. Sure, I felt bad for Kevin Everett; but his was a tragic case. Other than that, I'd rather show sympathy and concern for servicemen and women before I'd ever stand up for a pro football player.

I'm not sure if it's irony or history. A number of SB losers don't even make it back to the playoffs the next season in recent history.

The last team to make it back was Seattle a few years ago but history does usually show that the Super Bowl loser doesn't make the playoffs again.
The way you said it did look like a celebration, like you were happy about it. But yes the situation is somewhat ironic, would have been more ironic had he been on the cover of Madden.

Tom Brady Injury
Yah idk, it sucks to be injured on such a minor play, but thats football for you. I personally am not a huge Brady fan but the man has given a significant contribution to football world and its always a shame when someone like that is hindered from play. Its going to be an interesting year in football. I mean look at the Colts, that first game was terrible, and the Browns have a sick lineup but they can't seem to pull together. We gotta wait and see.

RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO is filtered out by go red engine eh? well then, RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO!

So, this isn't about some comedian getting his show pulled? Huh. See, that would have been interesting.
I'd watch the Paralympics, but I'm never in when they're on.

Unlike European Football, in American Football the offense is directed by the Quarterback, which is the position Tom Brady played. The Quarterback has to be able to read the defense, switch the plays around, etc. He is basically the leader of the team. Tom Brady is definitely one of the best in the game today and now that the Pats have lost them it will hurt. They won't lose every game but they will not ever be a guarnette to win.
